About the Host
Vernon Myles is the Host/Executive Producer of the show “Cutting It Up”, he is also a Master Barber with over 25 years of experience. Vernon currently serves in the Lord's Kingdom as a Pastor, before coming into these roles he experienced his dreams diminishing to play professional baseball. Vernon then began to encounter a life of darkness and despair in the streets of Baltimore, Md for about a decade or more before his prodigal return to the Lord. That’s when Vernon’s life began to flourish in the things of God by first marrying his teenage sweetheart Donna of 26 years. Out of their union, they birthed a son and a daughter, Sterling, and India who assisted their parents in all of their assignments and endeavors in Christ. Through a tenure of 25 years, Vernon served first as usher/security, ordained deacon, and minister, he and his wife traveled to California to receive training for the office of Pastor to birth the first Youth Church in the church’s history under the direction of Apostle Kenneth Robinson of Dream Life Worship Center. Vernon became Pastor of (TYZ) The Youth Zone where he served for several years until that assignment was completed. During that stretch of time, he also performed as an hip-hop gospel artist with his group Radical Prayze. The group traveled abroad but mainly performed locally for the love of ministry in their hometown Baltimore, Md. Some of the notable events were performed at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Capital One Arena, Six Flags, The Aframs, Charles Hickey School, prisons, institutions, and street evangelism events. Through those experiences, Vernon also helped birth a radio show on Heaven 600 called the Prayze Cafe where he served as a host and gained valuable experience in the radio world and hosting community events.
